Governor Wes Moore and the Governor's Office of Crime Prevention and Policy announced nearly $60 million in fiscal 2027 funding on October 9, 2026, for organizations serving crime survivors across Maryland.
The agency says 144 organizations requested more than $81 million. Six new awardees were included. Funded services include crisis intervention, counseling, emergency shelter, legal advocacy and court accompaniment.
The release points residents to GOCPP's grant map for provider information. The map labels its active-award data as February 1, 2026, so readers should confirm current services directly with providers.
