The Justice Department and FBI announced court-authorized seizures targeting the Microscan and FishHub tools. In unsealed court documents, authorities allege that actors working for China-based Integrity Technology Group operated the tools to scan or compromise critical infrastructure and other networks.

DOJ says the FBI’s Baltimore and San Diego field offices are investigating. A related cybersecurity advisory provides indicators for network defenders. The seizures disrupt infrastructure; they are not a criminal conviction.
